I could not have survived this tv free month without some good (and not so good, but engaging) books. Sunday I finished the last* of what I had from the Library and vowed for a break so I could get something done around the house**. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but sometimes a thousand words are more satisfying. As much as I love a good movie, I think there is no comparison to my love for getting swept into another place by a good book.
*The last book I read was "The Host" by Stephanie Meyer ("Twilight" Author). It was thrilling: sucking me in like Twilight and leaving me loving the characters in a way I haven't experienced in a long time. She's won my praise with this one!
**I promise part two of the home tour is on it's way. I've just got to recover from my reading hiatus.

I love a healthy "good book" phase. It always feels so rejuvenating. Also love what you said about a thousand words being satisfying. I've never though of it that way, but you're completely right.
Also, that picture is awesome - super cute!
I LOVED the Host even more than twilight, maybe I could bond to those characters better than the ones in twilight! I do love to read but rarely take the time anymore, I have fallen into the listening phase!
I can't say that I've gotten into any really good books lately. That is one thing I'd certainly like to take up at some point though.
Is that a picture of Benson? Did you take that? Holy smokes girl, you should go professional. That is completely amazing!
