Don't leave me alone.
My Mom's time here is almost over. I'm so sad. I haven't cooked or done dishes in three weeks. She's also dealt with the majority of the crying spells and helped me organize many unruly areas in my home. Today we did several cupboards, the pantry, and the new food storage area in the basement. She has also cooked like crazy, like always. Because it's so beautiful, I thought I'd share a picture of the personal size three layer cake she made for my husband, who turned 30 this past weekend.

Yummy, that cake looks good! Your making it hard for me to resist baking while I am trying to lose weight. Curse you, just teasing. I hope you know that you will not be alone, you can call me anytime (minus 3 am) you need an extra set of hands. I would be happy to help with Benson or Romney when you need some sleep. I am glad that you have enjoyed your time with your mom and little sister.
