This week my son and I worked on Valentines. It's very fun to have a child old enough for this type of thing. I took a picture to sample some of them...note: he made one for himself so he could have the treat stapled to the back.
My treat came at lunch today when out of the blue my three-year old said, "thanks for yummy lunch, chef." (It was Campbell's chicken noodle with cheese chunks and apple juice.)

Isn't it the best when they actually notice that you DO things for them?
Like that Tyson chicken commercial when the kid stands up on his chair at dinner and announces an ode to his mom for choosing non-hormone treated chicken to feed the family.
It never is really THAT dramatic, but to us moms...it sure feels that way!
