A Whole Month

Well, I've successfully tackled Christmas (including our trip to Florida). I have not tackled my fear of bridges or the dust on the baseboards in my bathroom. But, I am back. And I am excited for 2010. I've been working on a list of 10 things for 2010: goals, projects, etc. It's almost done and I'll share it soon. In the meantime I'm trying to plan some awesome activities for mutual (new calling anyone?), overcome my distaste for the dentist, convince Benson that telling me after he's already gone in his diaper is not "holding it", and other non-10 things list items. Wish me luck!

Good luck. Have fun in YWs. I think it is one of the most time consuming callings but very rewarding and a ton of fun.

I was always a fan of having the girls plan activities for mutual. It makes it easier for you and they feel more invested in the activities if they actually plan and execute them. Also, here is a great website with tons of great ideas (if you don't already know about it).

I use sugardoodle for my lessons too. One joint activity we just had that was a blast was human indoor fooseball. Tape lines on the gym floor and distribute people facing in opposite directions just like a regular fooseball table. Only rule is you have to have at least one foot on the line at all times. The kids had a blast and it's a good way to get them all involved the whole time which is hard for us at least because our group is huge. Good luck, email me if you need any more ideas and I'll tell you what we've done that seemed to go over well.

Is Santa wearing Shox boots?!? I SO want a pair of those! I had no idea he was that stylin'.

It was great to chat with you the other day. Andrew hasn't shown any signs of having contracted Benson's bug yet. :) No worries. And isn't potty training the pits? Really, why don't they just come potty trained?
