For Me.

One of the things I do for myself, just because I want to, is getting my eyelashes tinted. It's maybe a scary proposition at first but ever since I first tried it in college, I've been hooked.
It's usually pretty inexpensive in most salons and spa's (especially for me now, I've got a friend who just graduated from cosmetology school and did it for me from her home tonight at a VERY reasonable price).
Basically you are dying your eyelashes black. So, this is really only something people with very light/invisible lashes can appreciate. Like me. I mean, of course I still wear mascara most days but it looks decent without. It's a definite must for summer swimming. Anyway, here are some before and after shots for you. Trust me, it is worth it!
Disclaimer 1: I never pluck my eyebrows. It's bad, I know.
Disclaimer 2: There is a little residual dye on the skin around my eyes in the after shots. This goes away after a good face scrub in the shower, or 24 hours. Whichever comes first.

Before.

After.

I was just looking at the pictures. Hmmm. They don't show it as drastically as it is in real life.
Also, is it just me or do these pictures make my freckles extra noticeable. Maybe I should have worn make-up?

Only you notice your freckles. They are so much a part of your beautiful face that only you would see them as a flaw. I can tell the difference in the pictures of you looking down. I am glad that you treat yourself to something that you appreciate. I just happen to be one who likes to get her eye brows waxed at the beauty school for cheap. The things we do to make ourselves feel beautiful!

I think it's great! Plus, I love freckles. It's good that you take some time to do something for yourself...to many of us don't and just sit around resenting life for it. What's the fun in that?

Wow, that does make a difference. It looks good. Way to do something for yourself. You deserve it.

I don't know if your friend uses Vaseline or something similar but it helps keep the dye from settling on your skin. I love dying mine in the summer!
