whoops

Today, Benson went down in the basement with Rob to get me a can of beans. He spotted some of his birthday gifts we had stashed. Big-time whoops. I was all proud of myself for doing the shopping early and now I have a major meltdown on my hands.
These PSA's give me encouragement when I blow it. I like the whole series, but below is my favorite.

That is funny! Also, this blog post is not showing the returns right for me. I would test if it were a Firefox thing, but I don't use anything else on this machine. . .

Isn't that how it is?

But look at it this way, at least Benson WANTS his presents...we've been shopping for a little bike for the Drew and he's been less than cooperative. Sadly, this isn't the first time he's down right rejected a gift someone has tried to give him. Little punk.

Maybe in my case the PSA should say, "It's ok, there are lots of parents who feel like ringing their toddlers neck from time to time. The goal is to not actually act on that feeling...as long as you do that, you should be able to avoid child services showing up at your door."

Now that would be a PSA that parents could REALLY relate to, don't ya think?
