Confession

Benson loves music. I do too, but not the kids stuff so much. This is why I've NEVER played any kids music in the car. I don't want him to get any ideas about always listening to it there. As a result I'm molding a country music loving toddler. Okay, okay, he also loves "poker face" and an occasional Pink song. But, none the less, I am creating a monster. He even knows my favorites, calling them "mommy's song."
His song is "Big Green Tractor." It's white trashy, catchy, and has the word tractor in it a lot. So yeah, I'm confessing that I paid $ .99 for it. It's currently on repeat. I did this to myself. And technically it isn't an kids song, so there.

P.S. He thinks that I have magical powers to get it to come on the 'vadio'. I don't, but it sure is played a bunch lately. If you are at all interested in hearing it, press play on the sidebar playlist. Be warned, you will cringe the first few times but eventually you'll warm up to it, even liking it.

I'm glad your turning benson into a goat roper... dad can't make fun of me for listening to country if benson does too.

So you're not the only one who's going to spend 99 cents on this one!! I listened to it three times (even though it's way past bed time).

Thanks for keeping me in touch with the 'real world' :)

I gave in to the kids songs. Luckily I found some that weren't so bad and actually remind me a little of being a kid myself. But good job on the country music. I do country...Jason does rock. I have no idea which way the kids are going to go. Probably rock since I'm more tolerant of his music than he is of mine.

I think that is awesome. Why force yourself to have to listen to "The Wheels on the Bus" when you can listen to music YOU actually like!
