My absence from the world stems from a combination of factors. Basically, I went on a vacation that although delightful, wore me out. On the drive home I started feeling tooth pain. This increased until I went in on Thursday to receive some very un-fun news. Then we did the Birthday thing for my now 29 year old husband. Yesterday, I had the dental work done. The pain today is less than before the work but I'm sitting around watching useless TV thinking about the trip laundry still in the suitcase and moaning more. I wish a few ibuprofen could ease that ache.
I'm sad I missed the Bachelorette finale party, and the play day at the pool, but mostly I'm sad that I'm pretty much out of excuses for putting life on hold. I hereby announce that I am alive again.

Hurray! I am glad you are back. I can't wait to hear your take on the Bachelorette Finale!
We need to get everyone together and hear their take on the finale and after the final rose show. I am sorry that you had to have dental work done. That is NO fun! I feel worn out from my 2 trips and having Dave home during the day throws off my schedule. I just unpacked and started on the laundry. YUCK!
Welcome back! I must say, I've been dead to the world as well...so you're not alone. I was down in Utah for a week and then came home just to drive the kids back down to Utah on Monday and drive back up that day and then at girl's camp. Then back to Utah to get the kids and then on the boat with Jason's fam and then home and then back to Aberdeen to drop Kate off for cheer camp. I've been trying to recover still from girl's camp. And tomorrow I'm headed back down to Aberdeen to pick up Kate. Whew. I got tired just writing about it! Busy, busy July! Then I've got swimming lessons with two kids for two weeks! AAAAhhhhh! Fun but tiring.
Sorry about the tooth ache. Those stink. Glad to have you back though.
Sorry about the dental work--not fun. I know what you mean about recovering from vacation. I know I always need several days to recoup from a vacation...crazy how that works, huh?
