Wanted: Sleep

It's 8:25am. Benson is still asleep. Seriously, I can't even comprehend this. Granted it was another late night fighting him to go to sleep and I saw him at 3am, but still, that happens a lot and sleeping past 7:30 does NOT.
I'm really grateful for my time alone in bed this morning. This week has really worn me down. I'm enjoying what we're doing and I'm glad to  be making such an effort to be a good Mom but, it's exhausting.
Yesterday, I went on my rountine 3 mile walk with Krishele (anyone is welcome to join, we start at 9am) and then hurried off to Gymnastics, still in workout clothes. Benson and I were trying out a free class to see if we might sign up for once a week during the summer. I was so looking forward to just SITTING and watching. We get there and I find out it's a "mommy and me" gymnastics class. So I got a second workout, lifting, rolling, and chasing Benson for an hour. Needless to say, Benson loved it but we will wait until Fall, open gym, to go back.
In the afternoon, we had Daxton over to play with water in the backyard. **I also looked into swim lessons for the second half of June.
Today, we will go for our usual walk, maybe hit that cool park again, make jello cups with raspberries, and tonight he's going to the Father/Son camp-out with Dad.

**He woke up while I was writing here. And since he had a big time diaper leak through, we'll be washing sheets today too!

Gotta love the diaper leaks! Too bad the weather was so stinky at the park today. Good job on walking to and from...I was too lazy to try to get my kids to behave together in the stroller. I'm glad you have some time tonight to yourself. You deserve it!

I also have to comment on diaper leaks. I hate them. Jordan goes in to change Drew's diaper every night before we go to sleep and it does help (most of them time!)
