(I'm sorry for the title, that is seriously the cheesiest thing ever. I know.)
Ever since I can remember I've had the bad habit of throwing my dirty clothes on the floor. It's horrible. Then, I'd finally get the gumption to clean up and realize that we have insurmountable amounts of laundry (above). My solution hasn't been easy...old habits die hard...but one load of laundry per day has really helped in two ways.
1) If I even reach this goal even four days a week, I never have TONS of laundry and one huge day of nothing else.
2) Doing laundry everyday is like working out everyday. When I workout in the morning I am less likely to eat junk food. I don't want to un-do the hard work. Likewise, I don't want to undo my laundry labors by throwing stuff around.

Way to go with your closet. What a nice big closet you have--it's always such a good feeling to have an organized, neat closet. That's a good theory about doing your laundry everyday. But my big problem with laundry is the folding part--if I had to fold laundry everyday, I think I would go CRAZY.
Oh Kim! You have achieved what I someday dream of. I keep telling myself that when I have an indoor washer/dryer things will be different; but I think it's going to take more personal effort than just buying something! :) Way to go!
Love your closet!
The cheapness in me means we only do laundry (while we're living in Utah that is) every three weeks or so with maybe a load of whites in between. This means we have about 5 loads on laundry by the time we come home and I can't get to my side of the closet because the laundry is overflowing.
