A little taste of sunshine

Spring is finally easing in. Hooray. Feeling the sun seep into my frozen winter center makes me so happy. I think this picture is a good visual for how I'm feeling.
Beautiful. Beautiful.

Did you take that picture? Where in the world is that?

I'm sooooo glad the weather is finally warming up, too!

what a fun picutre! i don't mind at all if you do a mobile! for the paper ones i used a punch--you will defintely want a good punch! the butterfly one was martha stewart, and then i did the stars with an old one that you have to push down with your entire palm and my hand was SORE!

then just thread them with a needle, and tie the strands to an embroidery hoop. i used the inner and outer hoop for separate mobils, and then tied the 4 ribbons to hang it from.

they are REALLY easy, but a little time consuming. i usually did it while watching tv, so i don't know exactly how long it took. i didn't really measure anything so each strand is just whatever length i cut.

the felt circle one maybe even easier. i just cut the circles and then ran them through the sewing machine. i used clear thread. it was little stretch so it pulled them together adn didn't leave thread showing between each circle. i had intended for it to look more like those felt headbands that i made renee. if you use regualr thread then there would be a space between each circle and they kind of twirl individually. if i do another one like that i will not use the clear thread, but it's still cute. also if you have a die cut machine {which i don't} you could use it to make your circles more exact and it would probably be super fast.

have fun! i wanna see what you make!:) sorry all the rambling!
