Why is he such a big boy?

I've been thinking about this "picture" he drew a few days ago. He found a pencil and an old envelope and went for it. I didn't realize drawing would happen so soon!
This is causing a very sentimental mood to come over me and this was just intensified by the fact that he sat on my lap, holding my hands, during almost an hour of the movie "Because of Winn-Dixie". During the rest of the flim he danced around the living room. I can't believe what a big boy he's becoming.
As a side note it was a wonderful movie (I also loved the book). I especially loved the part where Opal talks about life being like the special candy, sweet and sad all mixed together. That's exactly how I feel about Benson growing up.

kids do grow up so fast. I always like to enjoy each stage- but my experience has shown that it just keeps getting better.
yes- that is your monogram. It was by far the best thing in my file of memorbilia. I can't believe I had it still. I hope you are keeping up with it. I love it all and wish I had kept the good stuff song!

very cute. It's amazing how kids just pick up on things we don't even teach them necessarily. I find myself wanting to keep every picture Ethan has ever drawn, colored and painted. 4 years of that makes for a BIG file folder of artwork!!

What an artist! That is early to be drawing. I can hardly get the kids in my Sunbeam class to color let alone draw a picture.
