Is surgery really the answer to all my tired problems?

So I've been sick for a month now with the nastiest sinus infections. I am currently on my second round of a very powerful antibiotic and it sticks!
Yesterday Rob and I went to the ENT for a follow up to look at my CT scan. He says the solution to all of this is surgery. YUCK.
I have another appointment on Friday with a different guy to get another opinion and I can't decide what I hope he'll say. On the one hand I want to fix this. I am so tired and the symptoms of both the infection and the antibiotics are gross. But, there's that lingering feeling that surgery is scary and what if there is another way.
On top of all of this I haven't worked for several weeks because I can't sing and surgery will extend that absence another month. Aghhh...it's frustrating.
So if any of you know anything about enlarged turbinates or diviated septums, let me know.

Thanks for the tip Kim. Are you and Rob going to the ward activity?

I'll definitely ask Michael's mom what she recommends. I've been wanting to call you, but last time Rob said you had lost your voice and would call me back when you got it back. So I hope you have it back by now! I'll call you after I talk to LeAnne.

Love you!
p.s. Benson is so darling in all these photos! I've started updating our blog again: http://deardeuff.blogspot.com.
